Wimpole Wedding Fair

The wedding Fayre at Wimpole Hall was wonderful and we all thoroughly enjoyed meeting the bides-to-be.
We decided to take the opportunity to do a bit of research into romantic poposals.
Most popular trends amongst the propsals were:
Seeking permission from the father of the bride beforehand Buying the ring in advance Telling lots of fibs
One lady who wasn't getting married asked me to give a message to her boyfriend.
"I love you very much, and would love to marry you, so please propose".
Here are our top 7 most romantic stories.
Proposal 1 Holiday proposal (Child Proposed)
I was on holiday in Greece with my partner and son.
One evening whilst on holiday our little boy got down on one knee with the ring in his hand and said "Daddy wants to marry you".
(this is the lady who then started crying at our stand - Kerry said they were 'Happy Tears!' )
Proposal 2 Birhday proposal (Treasure Hunt)
She woke up to lots of presents on her birthday.
Inside one of the presents was the first clue to a Teasure Hunt.
At each destination she would find a present and another clue.
The clues led her round Cambridgeshire the whole day to places they liked to go (i.e. first dates).
Finally, they went for a punt and above one of the bridges were her family and friends.
They lowered the last clue on a ribbon.
Her partner went down on one knee (balancing in the punt) and asked ‘Will you marry me?’
Proposal 3 Holiday proposal (Bells)
I had given up hope of my boyfriend proposing.
We went on holiday to Venice and were in St Mark’s Square.
Just as the bells were starting to ring at midnight (announcing the arrival of Valentine’s Day) , my boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed.
Proposal 4 Holiday proposal (On The Bed)
We were on holiday in Spain and had returned to the hotel after an evening out.
I popped to the loo and when I came back my partner was sitting on the bed with the ring in his hand.
He said "This is for you". I replied: "Have you got something to ask me then?" – the rest is history!
Proposal 5 Holiday proposal (Holiday Snap With A Difference)
We were on holiday in Tenerife.
My partner set up the camera with a 10 second delay to take a photo of both of us.
During the 10 seconds my partner got down on one knee and proposed.
We now have the photo enlarged and framed at home.
The photo also includes my bump (who we met sitting in the buggy), so a lovely family photo.
Proposal 6 Holiday proposal (Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend)
I was really hoping my boyfriend would propose as he took me on holiday to Belgium and were visiting Antwerp (the Diamond captial).
I was so patient, but he didn't take me into a single Jewellers shop in Antwerp, so I was starting to get a bit tearful.
We sat in the gardens outside a museum and he proposed.
Proposal 7 London Proposal (Lies, Lies & More Lies)
The ring was organised in advance by asking a friend of my partner to lie in order to get the ring size & style.
I often have work trips to London, so this time I said my trip to London was for two.
My friend collected us in his Black Cab and took us to London Eye, where I had booked a Capsule for 2 with Champagne.
At the top, I got down on one knee and proposed, my partner was stunned and said 'Yes'
